Steeped in history and renovated to the highest standards, the Cross Keys is now under the stewardship of Great Northern Inns who have brought one of Nottingham's finest gems back to life.

The Cross Keys offers a fantastic range of quality beers and wines, including 7 hand-pulled real ales and several craft beers. The food menu is essentially British-based with an extensive breakfast selection as well as lightbites and pub snacks.  The Dining Room is located above the pub and open for restaurant dining on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Serving all the favourites, including Sunday lunch, The Dining Room allows you to enjoy their delicious menu in beautiful & unique restaurant settings.

The Beer

The Cross Keys serves a range of beers, including six hand-pulled real ales. as part of the CAMRA sponsored Locale scheme. The mainstay of this is from the Navigation Brewery which opened in 2012 with guest ales & craft beers from near and far. Cider drinkers will be happy (aren't they always) with some mainstream brands on draughts and a small range of real ciders. They also have a range of craft beers & lagers, alongside premium draught lagers and a number of bottle continental beers.


The Food

The menu is essentially British-based, with the addition of an extensive breakfast selection and some more standard pub food. Suits and shoppers, lawyers and layabouts alike will all find something to their fancy in its pages. Breakfasts start at 9am, with prices ranging from £2.20 for toast, Full English at £6.75 and omelettes at £5.10. Lighter bites include soups, starters, sandwiches and salads, that range from £2.60 to £8.50. Flagship main meals, served from 12 daily, start at £7.95. Signature burgers range from £7.95 to £9.95 and they have a large range of other tasty main meals. Pudding will set you back around £5 and the infamous Sunday Roast is served from 12 noon onwards in the traditional manner (booking is advised).

The Wines and Spirits

The small but perfectly formed cellar is stocked by award winning wine merchants Pagendam Pratt. Bubbly stuff is also be on sale, as well as a supremely stacked back-bar for those looking to push the boat out a little further.
